Missions & Church Planting

We are passionate about making disciples of all nations! Jesus’ final words to his disciples in Matthew 28:18-20 and in Acts 1:8 significantly shape our missions strategy.


We seek to be engaged in disciple-making:

  • Internationally
  • Nationally
  • Valley-Wide
  • Locally


Currently, we are privileged to be partnered with church planting movements in South Africa, SE Asia, Surprise, AZ, along with a host of other mercy ministries in the Phoenix Metro Area.


Our next big missional steps are identifying our church’s neighborhood and beginning to mobilize into the neighborhood with the life changing hope of Jesus. We’d love for you to join us as we make disciples of all nations!

If you regularly attend Vista, we trust that one of the reasons is because you feel welcome and comfortable here. Your kids have leaders they love and who love them. You are greeted warmly and enjoy hospitality whenever you enter our doors. The band ushers you into worship and a talented technical team executes the environment. Or maybe you’re with men and women you love through various forms of biblical community. These things don’t just happen. They are carried out by a group of faithful volunteers who are giving of their time and talents to show their love for Jesus.

At Vista we can’t accomplish our mission by paid staff alone. We rely on a whole host of volunteers who are involved in this ministry, playing a part, joining in on what God is doing here.
